I'M NOT AS YOUNG AS I THINK I AM- SIGH!
I just realized I am not getting any younger! Ha- when did that happen! I had to have a "minor" little out patient procedure today. When I was in my twenties I had the same procedure without any problems. Today though I truly felt beat up after all was over- and then it hit me (no pun intended) - I'm not in my twenties anymore! Man has age made me smart! But through all the FUN today I can truly say I am blessed and that my life is full- I had beautiful, wonderful people surround me with love and support, a wonderful doctor, and fantastic, out of this world, awesome, caring nurses! I also have a kind and loving Heavenly Father who took my fears and turned them into STRENGTH , took my doubts and turned them into knowledge , took my life and made it into something wonderful !

Joy
It has weighed a lot on my mind lately- finding joy- where in the world do go to look for that? Well, I have learned that you only really find it when you are too busy having fun to go looking for it. This last week I have struggled with discouragement- sometimes it is so hard to accept God's will in our lives- especially when what you have been praying for so hard does not happen. But I continue to pray for guidance and the humility to learn what He would have me learn. He's not finished with me yet...I've found that out! I am grateful for all the blessings I have and am learning to find JOY in the little things and in whatever moment or circumstance I may be in. Vikki

Live in Thanksgiving
Do you ever feel like life has it in for you? Do you wonder why things (meaning crazy, weird stuff) always seem to happen to you? It seems like my life just keeps happening and I am along for the ride- juggling all the balls in the air like some frantic wild woman trying not to drop one. But then I look around and take time to be grateful for what I have in my life.
" Gratitude is a mark of a noble soul and a refined character. We like to be around those who are grateful. They tend to brighten all around them, They make others feel better about themselves. They tend to be more humble, more joyful, more likable. "
I am so grateful for what I have- Family, Friends, Health, a Job, the list goes on and on.... So when life seems to be going faster then I can keep up with, I sit down and remember the blessings I have been given. Grateful people are some of the happiest people on earth! And who doesn't want that?Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin
